- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Start by boiling a large pot of salted water for the pasta. Once the water is boiling, add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. 2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for about a minute until fragrant. 3. Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to soften and release their juices. 4. Once the pasta is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water and drain the rest. 5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the cherry tomatoes and toss to combine. If the pasta seems dry, add some of the reserved pasta water to loosen it up. 6. Add the chopped basil and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet and toss to combine. 7.
