Instructions

5. Cut the rolled dough into 6-inch circles.

8. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and crimp the edges.
9. Brush the top of each pasty with the beaten egg.
10. Cut a small vent in the top of each pasty to allow steam to escape.
11. Place the pasties on a baking sheet and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown.
