Instructions
Here's how to prepare the Slow Cooker Bolognese:- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat and transfer to the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened. Add to the slow cooker.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, red wine, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
- Cover the slow cooker with a lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Half an hour before the cooking time is up, stir in the heavy cream and let it cook for another 30 minutes.
- Cook the spaghetti pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- When the cooking time is up, serve the Slow Cooker Bolognese over the cooked spaghetti pasta. Top with grated Parmesan cheese (optional).
