- 1 tomato, chopped
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. cumin seeds
- 1 tsp. coriander seeds
- 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. garam masala
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
- 1/2 cup water
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Instructions
1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the cumin and coriander seeds and fry until fragrant, around 30 seconds.2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger and fry until the onion is soft and translucent.
3. Add the meat to the pan and cook until browned on all sides, around 5-7 minutes.
4. Add the chopped tomato, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and chili powder to the pan and stir well.

6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for around 30 minutes or until the meat is tender.
7. Remove the lid and increase the heat to medium-high. Cook for a further 5-10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with naan bread, rice, or roti.
