Baked Apple Recipe

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats

- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup apple cider or water
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Cut off the top of each apple and scoop out the core and seeds, leaving a well in the center. Be sure not to cut through the bottom of the apple. 3. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the brown sugar, rolled oats, chopped walnuts, melted butter, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and salt. Mix until everything is well combined. 4. Stuff each apple with the oat mixture, pressing it down firmly. 5. Place the apples in a baking dish and pour the apple cider or water into the bottom of the dish. 6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. 7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the oat mixture is golden brown. 8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.Nutrition
