For the sponge cake:- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, room temperature

- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of whole milk, room temperature
- 3 cups of powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup of whole milk
- 3 cups of desiccated coconut
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the oven and prepare the cake pan
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch cake pan.Step 2: Sift the dry ingredients
In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.Step 3: Cream the butter and sugar
