Follow these simple instructions to make a delicious boiled fruit cake:- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 20cm (8 inch) round cake tin.
- In a large saucepan, combine the mixed dried fruit, water, sugar, and butter. Heat the mixture over medium heat until the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved.
