- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1/4 cup of water
- Vegetable oil for cooking
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced pork, chopped cabbage, scallions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. 2. Mix the ingredients well until everything is evenly distributed. 3. Take a gyoza wrapper and place a tablespoon of filling in the center. 4. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water. 5. Fold the wrapper in half and press the edges together to seal. 6. Repeat the process until you have used up all the filling. 7. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. 8. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. 9. Place the gyoza in the pan and cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. 10. Pour the cornstarch slurry around the edges of the pan. 11. Cover the pan with a lid and let the gyoza steam for about 4-5 minutes. 12.
