Quick Recipe Lasagna

For this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 jar of pasta sauce
- 1/4 cup of water
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 cups of ricotta cheese
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Now that you have all the ingredients ready, here are the instructions to make the quick lasagna:- Preheat your oven to 375°F or 190°C.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the pasta sauce and water to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent the noodles from sticking together.
- In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon a thin layer of the meat sauce into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
- Spoon half of the cheese mixture over the noodles.
- Repeat the layers with the meat sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
